No data loss should occur during a service disruption

Internet Down!As a safety measure, all devices deployed in the field are configured to work as a data logger when there is a service disruption or the cellular data network is not available.

That means that the device itself, without operator intervention, starts recording each position or event report in its internal memory (capacity varies from model to model, usually 2000 records) if it is not able to communicate with our gateway servers or if the server’s answer to that position or report is not received or is invalid. Once the network connection is restored, or the failing server or process starts responding again, the device will “dump” all stored positions and resume normal operations afterwards.
